INDIA, Post-Kushan (Yaudheya). Kushan imitative. 3rd-4th centuries AD. Æ Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 12.15 g, 12h). Karttikeya standing facing, holding spear; 'dvi' (= "two" [in Brahmi]) to left of Karttikeya's head, peacock to lower right, yaudheya ganasya jaya (= "Victory to the Yaudheya people" [in Brahmi]) around / Devasena standing left, raising hand; flower vase to left, inverted nandipada to right. AIC 7; MACW 4711. Attractive brown patina. Good VF.
