HUNNIC TRIBES, Kidarites. temp. Kidara. Circa 350-365. AV Dinar (36mm, 7.73 g, 12h). In the name and types of Kushano-Sasanian ruler Vahrām (Bahram) I. Boxlo (Balkh) mint. Vahram standing left on ground line, wearing lotus crown with ribbons and surmounted by pomegranate, flames at shoulders, sacrificing at altar and holding trident; to left, trident standard above altar, middle prong surmounted by crescent; to right, Kidarite tamgha above "pomegranate" / Siva standing facing, holding diadem and trident; behind, the bull Nandi standing left.
