SILK ROAD, Uncertain. 3rd-4th centuries AD. AV Bracteate (18mm, 1.57 g). Imitating a late Antonine or early Severan Rome mint aureus. Bareheaded and draped bust left, wearing necklace with medallion / Incuse of obverse. Sergeev –; cf. Triton XI, lot 384 (for type, but without necklace). Slightly wavy flan, some smoothing in fields on obverse. VF. Holed twice for suspension.
