LYDIA, Saitta. Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ Medallion (36mm, 26.77 g, 12h). Sospitus Charikleus, Archon. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Hygieia standing right, holding serpent, facing Asklepios standing right, head left; Telesphorus in hooded cloak between them. A. Loebbecke, "Griechische Münzen aus meiner Sammlung II" in ZfN 12 (1885), no. 3. Dark brown patina with touches of red, some green encrustation/deposits. Good VF. Very rare.
