Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear in background; monogram to inner left. This issue has a striking resemblance to an issue now given to Byzantion by C. Marinescu (his new Issue 29 in the forthcoming revision of his dissertation). While he does not consider the present issue to be from Byzantion, it certainly must be from a mint in the region that was associated with the city.
