Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Moesia standing facing, head left, holding vexillum(?) and scepter; to left, eagle standing left, head right; to right, lion standing left; AN XIV (date) in exergue. H&J, Viminacium –; Varbanov –; AMNG I –. Rare variety with eagle instead of bull to left of Moesia. Unpublished in the standard references // BITHYNIA, Nicomedia. Severus Alexander. Laureate head right / Octastyle temple with pellet in pediment. RG 326. Smoothing on the first. Fine and Near VF. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Two (2) coins in lot.
