KNB26. Printed by Waterlow and Sons. A later date for this appealing W&S design and scarce in all grades. A vibrant red protector at the lower center adds contrast to the deep purple frame and black inks. Two detailed water front vignettes at left and right show with great fashion and the reverse showcases an ornate building are center. The left vignette "Bridge of Nanking" was derived from a painting by Thomas Allom, the English architect.
