TITUS AS CAESAR, A.D. 69-79. AE Sestertius (27.30 gms), Rome Mint, Struck under Vespasian, A.D. 72. NGC VF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 2/5. Edge Filing, Scratches.
RIC-423 (Vespasian). Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Pax standing left, holding branch and cornucopia. A rather deep brown example, with some scattered patches of green. Light scratches in the fields are noted along with some edge filing, but nevertheless a SCARCE and seldom seen type of Titus as Caesar.
