RIC-668; RSC-253. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Minerva, holding spear and shield, standing right on capital of rostral column; owl standing to right. Pleasantly toned and rather well centered, this piece presents a great portrait of Domitian, the younger son of Vespasian and the emperor who would be the last of the '12 Caesars.'
