59mm; 115.26 gms. By M. Langone. Commemorating the first Brazilian Numismatic Congress held in Sao Paulo and organized by the Brazilian Numismatic Society. Obverse: Female kneeling facing, with another female kneeling to her left and right; representations of Brazilian coins around them in semicircular border; Reverse: Image of the Jaragua Mountain and portrait of Affonso Sardinha, who discovered ore deposits near Sao Paolo. A large, interesting, and VERY SCARCE medal pertaining to Brazilian numismatics.
