The Fisheries Bank, a skit note for £ Fish, ND, reading, "please pay a visit to the Great Central Fried Fish Restaurant, where the Best Quality Fish only is obtainable" and made out to "The Proprietors of Great Central Fish Restaurant, 85, King Street, Camden Town, Corner Bayham Street", fresh (pun intended) and original, good very fine, rare and amusing

King Street was renamed Plender Street in 1937. The building that housed this restaurant sadly does not survive. It remained intact throughout the Second World War, but appears to have been knocked down to make way for a modern development (now Westerham House) some time in the 1960s of 70s.
