Laureate, armored Peter I bust r. wearing a mantle adorned with eagles, Yudin's initials on truncation / Battle scene, city panorama beyond; INTERNECIONIS TERMINVS (In the end Annihilation) BORISTHENES (the Dnieper river) below, date at bottom. Toned over a few old hairlines. About extremely fine The ferocious message directed against the Swedes in this message politically came to fruition after Poltava. Some historians, in fact, view the Battle of Poltava and its aftermath as the pivotal moment which marked the end of the Swedish empire and the birth of the Russian empire.
