Qing Dynasty. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding ("Three-Stamp Remittance") "Packsaddle" Sycee of 5 Taels 1910, cf. Cribb-LXVI.B.743 (different bank), Assay Stamp F1. 58x35mm. 175.24gm. Cast at Tongxin Bank, inspected by assayers Tong and She. Each of the three main stamps reads: "Geng Xu Jiu Yue Tong Xin Hui Wen" (Geng-xu Year, i.e., 1910, 9th month, Tongxin Bank, remittance bank fine silver), assay stamp reads: "Guan Gong Gu Tong She Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Tong and She). Extremely well-preserved and handsomely toned with abundant residual luster.
This lot has not yet been assigned a grade, as it will be submitted to Gong Bo for certification before the auction.
