A laudable example of this dragon dollar type that is often plagued by post mint alterations, with nearly all of the examples of this extra spines variety that have appeared at auction in recent years lacking a straight grade. Minorly weak in the margins as is usual for the issue, the fields nevertheless retain good luster and almost sunny tones.
