Rama IV copper Pattern "Royal Gift" 1/8 Baht (Fuang) ND (1857-1858) MS63 Brown NGC, Bangkok mint(?), KM-Pn1, cf. LeMay-pp. 94-95, Plate XXII, 4 (unlisted in copper), Krisadaolarn/Mihailovs-pg. 152, Plate F12. Bannakan ('Royal Gift') issue. A very difficult pattern to locate at all, let alone in any meaningful condition, featuring a clearly Prooflike finish over glossy cocoa surfaces free of tone. This appears to be the first example to become available at auction in many decades, and likely represents the sole certified example between either NGC or PCGS. Mislabeled on the holder as KM-Pn6, and a standard 1/8 Baht pattern.
