Rama V copper Pattern 1/8 Baht (Fuang) ND (1868) MS64 NGC, Uncertain English mint, KM-Pn21, cf. Krisadaolarn/Mihailovs-pg. 164, Plate F32 (this denomination not listed). An essentially Proof striking in spite of the designation, with subdued dark-chocolate brown surfaces revealing a considerable Prooflike sheen of sky-blue color when rotated in hand. For comparison, we note that a PR64 Red & Brown example brought $3200 in August 2010. A fully covetable issue only fully appreciable in-hand, and worthy of a premium bid.
