Rama V Baht RS 127 (1908) AU55 NGC, Paris mint, KM-Y39, LeMay-Plate XXVIII, 11 & 12, Krisadaolarn/Mihailovs-pg. 181, Plate F54. Jubilee issue. A classic rarity and only a one-year type from a period in Thai coinage that sees remarkably few high-grade coins survive. Frequently found used in jewelry, well-circulated, or cleaned, the coin at hand shows a clear definition to the strike that is usually lacking, accentuated further by navy tones against soft dove-gray devices. Only two examples have been certified finer by NGC, only one of which has achieved Mint State.
