China Yunnan Kor Pick Railway Bank 1; 5; 10; 50 Dollars ND (c.1920s) Pick UNL Four Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ; Uncirculated 62; Choice Uncirculated 64 (2). This incredibly rare and interesting set of Specimen created by the American Bank Note Company is seldom, if ever encountered. It is possible that the first set of these Specimen was brought to light in the early 1990s when ABNC archives were sold at auction. Information about this short-lived bank is not generally available. It can be surmised that although Specimen were created, no regular banknotes were issued. These four denominations are most likely the complete set, therefore representing an important opportunity to acquire designs for this proposed issuer. The 10 Yuan has small tears mentioned for accuracy. Red overprints and hole punched cancellations are seen.
