China Park-Union Foreign Banking Corporation, Shanghai 50 Dollars 1.1.1922 Pick UNL Front Proof PMG About Uncirculated 50. A very rare type that was never issued, only Proofs such as this are known to exist. During the time of Western influence in Chinese port cities, various banking operations were created to facilitate commerce among multinational operations. This prototype was created for an issuer that ultimately folded: the joint venture between the American National Park Bank and the Union Bank of Canada. Good colors are seen on the face side of this ABNCo Proof, with minor smudges and paper pulls mentioned for accuracy.
