A visually stunning creation by famed British printer Waterlow & Sons, this note beautiful in every aspect and eminently desirable. The regularly issued banknote of this denomination features eight different dates, and was colored in a combination of mauve, orange, purple, brown, and black. The contrasts on this Color Trial are quite dramatic. This banknote was originally part of a presentation booklet prepared by the printer to showcase its talents to prospective clientele. Minor, but typical mount remnants are seen on the back of this otherwise choice Specimen. Hole punched cancellations of various sizes are seen, along with blue and red Waterlow & Sons overprinted cancellations.
