A fantastic, crisp and much above average example, this large sized denomination has a small range of dates. Serial numbers B350,001 to B550,000 were forcibly issued by the Japanese during World War II. HSBC vaults were opened, and bank executives signed these notes under "Duress", hence the moniker. Colors and ink are especially pleasing on this example, which saw limited circulation before being saved.
