We have not previously offered this date in any grade, let alone in pack fresh, Gem Uncirculated grade. These grandly sized notes are seldom seen at this grade point, due to their sheer size and spending power, coupled with the humid climate of Hong Kong, which often lead to foxing spots in the white border areas. Across all dates from 1941 to 1955, PMG has graded only 34 banknotes with the grade 66 EPQ, which should hint at the rarity of this note in this lofty grade.
