A splendid and rare high denomination type, examples are rarely seen in issued form due to their high face value and brief stint in circulation at the conclusion of World War II. Interestingly, the face side of this note exhibits slightly different color schemes. The typical brown underprint around the portrait of Yamato Takeru appears more yellow, and the red stamp at front left is a yellowish-orange.
