China Bank of China, Foreign Exchange Certificate 50; 100 Yuan 1988 Pick FX8; FX9 Two Examples PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ (2). Between 1979 and 1994, non-citizens visiting China were to pay for goods and services with foreign exchange certificates issued by the Bank of China, such as are offered in this lot. Many of these notes were used or lost a few decades ago, leaving examples in Superb Gem Uncirculated condition few and far between today.
