A handsome group of the first eight denominations of this World War II series, printed by the American Banknote Company. Traditional Dutch printer JEZ was unable to produce banknotes for the Dutch colonies around the world, hence the new printer and designs for this series. Minor discoloration and PVC toning are seen on two examples.
