Commemorating the 500th Anniversary of the Accession of King Henry VIII. The second Tudor monarch, Henry VIII was King of England from 21 April 1509 until his death on 28 January 1547. He was the first ever English King of Ireland (from 15 February 1542) and had a nominal claim to the Kingdom of France.
