Βyzantine lead seal of Constantinos proedros and krites the vestiarios
(ca 11th/12th cent.)
Obverse: Bust of Mother of God facing, nimbate, wearing chiton and maphorion, orans, with Jesus Christ as a child in medallion on her chest, also facial and nimbate, the usual sigla, ΜΡ-Θ[ΟΥ] = Μήτηρ Θεοῦ (Mother of God), all within dotted fine border.
Reverse: Inscription in 5 lines between decorative patterns, following a cross, +Κ(ΥΡΙ)ΕΒ(ΟΗ)Θ(ΕΙ)Τ(Ω)/CΩΔ(ΟΥΛΩ)ΚΩ(Ν)CΤΑΝΤΙΝΩ/ΠΡΟΕΔΡΩ S,ΚΡ(ΙΤΗ)ΤΟΒΕC/ΤΙΑΡΙΩ = +Κύριε, βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Κωνσταντίνῳ προέδρῳ καὶ κριτῇ τῷ βεστιαρίῳ (Lord, help your servant Constantinos proedros and krites the vestiarios), all within dotted border.
