Jose I gold 4000 Reis 1753-(L) MS62 NGC, Lisbon mint, KM171.1, LMB-295. Variety with "JOSEPHUS" and "DOMINVS". While this year has a relatively high mintage for the type at 22,000 pieces, it nonetheless remains quite scarce in any Mint State grade. Bright yellow and full of luster, which a narrow adjustment mark on each face.
