Overstruck on a Neapolitan bronze – HN Italy 595 (Head of Apollo / Man-faced bull with Victory; ΝΕΟΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ) – see Clive Stannard in Numismatic Chronicle 2018, pp. 99 ff., who considers these official Roman coins struck in Minturnae or nearby and related to the similar overtypes struck on Sardinian or Sicilian types of the Second Punic war. The Neapolitan undertype is dated to 250-225 BC in HN Italy. [Andrew McCabe]
