KINGS of MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios. 323-317 BC. Æ Quarter Unit (9.5mm, 1.38 g). Miletos(?) mint. Struck under Asandros, circa 323-319 BC. Macedonian shield with pellet on boss / Crested Macedonian helmet; grain ear to lower left, K(?) to lower right. Cf. Price 2072 (half unit); cf. Liampi, Schild, M11 (same). Dark brown patina. VF. Extremely rare, unpublished denomination for issue.
