MYSIA, Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.41 g, 12h). Cistophoric standard. Meno-, prytaneis. Struck circa 76-67 BC. Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; above, MH above monogram (=prytaneis) flanked by N-O, civic monogram to left, serpent-entwined staff to right. Kleiner, Hoard 42; SNG BN 1745–6 var. (no N-O on rev.). Iridescent tone, light graffito in field on reverse. Good VF.
