ΙЄΡΑ [CΥΝΚΛ]ΗΤΟC, youthful bust of Senate to right / [MVPЄ]INΑΙΩΝ ΑΙΟΛЄΩΝ, Dionysos, naked to hips, standing facing, head to left, holding kantharos in right hand, and thyrsos in left, resting on column, before him, panther (?).

The inscription on reverse ΑΙΟΛΕΩΝ is found also at the neighbour city of Kyme, which with Myrina are two of the eleven cities of Aiolis enumerated by Herodotus.
A similar reverse type is represented also on a coin of Myrina in the time of Annia Faustina (Imhoof-Blumer, GM, p.633, 249).
