LESBOS, Mytilene, 377-326 B.C., electrum hekte (2.53 g), obv. helmeted head of Athena three quarters facing, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet, earing and pearl necklace, rev. head of Hermes to right, chlamys around shoulders and petasos behind neck, all within linear square frame, (cf.S.4243, Bodenstedt 86 (dies -/h), HGC 6, 1012, SNG von Aulock 1709 and 7738, Traite II 2190 [same obv. die], SNG Cop. 319, Boston MFA 1733-4, Weber 5620). Very fine and rare.
