An intriguing and seemingly altogether unpublished pattern lacking the usual incuse edge lettering that characterizes this series. Perhaps similarly meant to serve as a sort of presentation piece, much as Dupriez describes the piefort version of the pattern, the devices are overlaid with a delicate mint frost while the fields resound with mirrorlike reflectivity, suggesting that anyone who encountered this piece would have been duly impressed.
