Great Britain
Victoria silver Proof Pattern Shilling 1875 PR65 PCGS, KM-Unl., ESC-3134 (R6). Milled edge. Coin alignment. Exceptionally rare, this pattern shilling type combines a mature, crowned bust of Queen Victoria as conceived by William Wyon with Pistrucci's famous reverse motif of St. George slaying the dragon. Though ESC does not provide a mintage figure, a rating of R6 indicates only 3-4 examples known. Richly toned in sea green and blue iridescence, with every detail struck to its fullest extent, the offering at hand represents a singular opportunity for the serious pattern collector.
