Franz Joseph I gold "Coronation Anniversary" 100 Korona 1907-KB MS66 NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM490, Fr-256, Husz-2213. Mintage: 10,897. A supremely popular type that was struck upon the 40th anniversary of the King's coronation in Hungary, showing a pleasing combination of matte-like centers framed by a lustrous ring at the edges. Among the finest seen by NGC, with just two MS66's there receiving 'plus' designations, it is difficult not to be drawn in by this specimen's superb quality. We note that NGC no longer differentiates between Proof and Mint State examples for this issue.
