Full-length figure of the Virgin seated facing on throne, holding nimbate head of infant Christ on lap; barred MHP-ΘV across fields / ANΔPONIKOC-ΔЄCΠOTHC, figures of Andronicus I (on left) and Christ (on right) standing facing, the former wearing crown with pendilia and loros with eight pellets on sleeve, labarum in right hand, globus cruciger in left, and being crowned by the latter, wearing nimbus cruciger and colobium, book of Gospels cradled on left arm; barred IC between, barred XC to right.
