Pedro II Combined Order of the Three Military Orders Decoration ND (Instituted 1843?) AU, cf. Barac-120, R&S-Unl. 65x50mm. 53.81gm. Combining the emblems of the Ordem Imperial de Cristo (red Latin Cross with white interior), Ordem Imperial de São Bento de Avis (green Latin Cross with floriate ends), and the Ordem Imperial de Santiago da Espada (red Latin Cross with floriate ends and sword as lower arm). With pin clasp. An apparently very rare brooch-type decoration for the three ancient religious-military orders brought by João VI to Brazil in 1807, known only from a reconstructive drawing in Barac, and missing from the Robert L.
