Ferdinand I gold "Imitation" 4 Ducat 1905 MS64 NGC, KM-Unl, Fr-Unl. An incomparable example of this imitation type that mimics the Austrian 4 Ducat issue, with sublime peach-gold surfaces--fully mirrored in the fields and lightly frosted over the designs--with little in the way of handling present throughout the large, unprotected expanses. The inclusion of a small crown hallmark on the reverse denotes the imitation. Currently the single-finest certified specimen in this top level of quality at NGC.
