Newfoundland. Victoria gold 2 Dollars 1880 AU58 NGC, London mint, KM5. Mintage: 2,500. The key date to the Newfoundland 2 dollar series, and an issue which shows a marked drop off above the AU level in both the NGC and PCGS certified populations. Traces of die polish are still discernable on the obverse, while the whole piece preserves considerable luster.
