Ferdinand VI gold 8 Escudos 1752 So-J MS60 NGC, Santiago mint, KM3, Fr-5, Cal-72. Displaying a planchet flaw below the bust as well as a pair of adjustment marks upon the reverse coat of arms, but quite pleasant nonetheless and unmistakably uncirculated, with more than a hint of wateriness to the fields throughout. A scarce date of this popular large-sized gold issue, especially in such fine condition as this, with only one other example certified in Mint State by either NGC or PCGS (by comparison, there are 231 examples of the 1751 So-J issue in Mint State at both services combined).
