German Colony. Wilhelm II gold 15 Rupien 1916-T UNC Details (Reverse Rim Filed) NGC, Tabora mint, KM16.2, J-728a. Mintage: 6,395. Arabesque below A in OSTAFRIKA variety. Still possessing an admirable quality for this 'emergency' coinage despite the noted rim filing, the surfaces appearing entirely original with little evidence of handling. The scarcer of the two primary varieties for the type, and highly collectible as such.
