Franz Joseph I Taler 1778 MS61 PCGS, Vienna mint, KM-C6, Dav-1580, Divo-80. An exceedingly rare issue, only the second example of which we have offered to date and by far the finest of the two. Soft, satiny luster pervades the surfaces of this piece, unmistakably Mint State despite a slight weakness in strike at the high points. Desirable in any condition and certainly so fine, this being the sole example certified in uncirculated condition by PCGS.
