Luxembourg
William III silver Specimen Essai 5 Francs 1889 SP64 PCGS, Brussels mint, KM-E20. Hailing from a tiny mintage of only 50 pieces, this imposing Essai was struck the year prior to the death of William III, after which possession of the nation of Luxembourg passed from the Netherlands to the House of Nassau-Weilburg. As a result, it was the final numismatic issue struck under Luxembourg prior to the 20th century. Boldly struck, with a hearty, solemn steel-gray tone enveloping the surfaces, and the presence of faint "pull-away" toning around the lettering attesting to its distinct originality. The sole finest example graded by PCGS.
