Philip V 8 Reales 1738 Mo-MF MS63 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM103. The second MS63 example of this date we have had the pleasure of offering, and perhaps the finer of the two, displaying a captivating patina of originality that does little to conceal the satiny luster beneath. Very desirable as an early example of the ever-popular "Pillar Dollar" series and conditionally quite scarce for a type usually found in well-circulated condition.
