Both a significantly scarcer denomination than the more widely known 2 Excelentes, as well as a more difficult variety from the Seville mint, with the eight-pointed star below rather than about the S mintmark, seen here in tremendous near choice quality. Betraying only the lightest wave to the surfaces, yet a true connoisseur's coin.
