cf. SNG ANS-919; cf. BMC-1-2. Obverse: Bridled horse being led to right by male wearing petasos and holding two spears; Reverse: Quadripartite incuse square. An enigmatic and fairly RARE issue, these rather crude, large silver issues are generally attributed to the Bisaltai, a tribe in the Thraco-Macedonian region. Some minor roughness in spots, entirely consistent with the type.
