OCTAVIAN. AR Denarius, Military mint traveling with Octavian in Italy, 41 B.C. NGC VF.
Cr-518/2; CRI-299; Syd-1317. Obverse: Bare head right; Reverse: Equestrian statue of Octavian left. A fairly SCARCE type, this issue is always encountered on rather oddly shaped flans. The present example, however, offers great centering on each side along with deep toning and a decent portrait.
