Obverse: I O M / S P Q R V S / PR S IMP CAE / QVOD PER EV / R P IN AMP / AT Q TRAV / S E in seven lines within wreath; Reverse: L MESCINIVS RVFVS III VIR, cippus inscribed IMP / CAES / AVGV / COMM / CONS in five lines; S C across field. Despite its somewhat rough and compact nature, a VERY RARE offering from very early in the Empire. Darkly toned throughout.
