RIC-28 (Rome); RSC-21. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: S P Q R / P P/ OB C S in three lines within wreath. Despite the noted edge filing, which is very subtle, this example stands as an excellent representation from a brief but infamous emperor, offering a solid imperial portrait. A pleasing cabinet tone and fairly clean surfaces ensure that it will generate a good deal of spirited bidding. Rather RARE in any case, but especially so this pleasing.
